Murder Mystery for hire

Murder Mystery parties are the ideal corporate event entertainment & perfect for team building. We have murder mystery for hire across London & the South East.

At Yes Entertainment we can we can arrange a murder mystery for you or you can buy one and run it yourselves.  The shows are run by a cast of professional actors who will be there to oversee everything and play the main roles. Depending on your requirements there will be opportunities for your guests to get involved and play some of the characters too: a femme fatale, Lady of the house or a blundering policeman for example.

Some of our murder mystery plots feature famous characters like the great detective Mr Sherlock Holmes, or characters from Agatha Christie. Some have more individual, original characters. Some use real historical figures: Oscar Wilde, Queen Victoria, Lillie Langtry. Some can be tailored to include information about your group. If your budget stretches far enough, we can even create a plot for you.

Something for everyone!

Everybody had a whale of a time and it’s the main topic of conversation in the office! Extremely well executed- if you’ll pardon the pun! It was very well organised both pre- event and during the actual time on the boat. We would have no hesitation in recommending your services.” Heather Thurston, The Infrassistance Company

How we run our whodunits varies according to how many people they are for and which style you prefer. Some murder mystery plots can be run by just one or two professional actors, some need five or more. Styles vary according to what will work best for your group. Some are participative and provide plenty of opportunities for guests to get involved. Others are more laid back, more “dinner theatre” than “interactive”. These are the main plot styles we offer:

Very Participative
For smaller groups. Everyone is given their own character to play and how much guests join in is very much their own choice. Perfect for team building and as a way of getting people mixing and mingling.

Fairly Participative
For medium and larger groups. People are in teams. One person in each team usually has a character to play. Everyone else does what they can to help their team win: solving any murders, questioning all the suspects and pursuing any other objectives their team has. This style of plot also provides plenty of opportunity for people to circulate, mix and mingle.

Watch The Action
For medium and larger groups. These plots are broken up into different scenes and sections. The sections fit nicely around whatever your group is doing: a presentation dinner, an awards ceremony, a conference, a networking event, etc.
