The Jazzy Josephine Band are an ideal Christmas party jazz band and vintage/contemporary jazz band for weddings & functions. Their repertoire covers traditional jazz standards mixed with contemporary songs performed in a jazz style.
Josephine is an internationally acclaimed singer from London. Her captivating voice will bring a touch of glamour to any event. She sings with the her multi talented Jazz band for Christmas parties, weddings, events and occasions of every kind.
Josephine also works as a solo entertainer on-board some of the most prestigious cruise lines in the world. Their sets favour jazz, blues, swing, evoking the nostalgic magic of the 40’s and 50’s as well as a selection of songs from the 60’s right up to the present day.

Josephine started performing at the tender age of 7 and she hasn’t stopped since. Age 16 she was singing lead in a function band doing events and weddings all over the country, age 19 she won a full scholarship at one of London’s most prestigious Drama Schools, Arts Educational; Where she studied Musical Theatre and Voice for 3 years. Since Graduating in 2009 she has performed Lead Roles in some of the Uk’s top theatre venues, including Belgrade Theatre, Citizens Theatre Glasgow, Mercury Theatre London, Market Theatre and Riverside Studios London. She has sung Jazz sets at a wide variety of venues; New Oxford Theatre, Quaglinos Green Park London, The Lowry Manchester and The Edinburgh Festival.
Over the last 5 years Josephine has appeared as a guest vocalist with a number of bands and harmony groups, these include ‘The Andelini Sisters’, ‘Belle Noir’ and the ‘Black Cats Band’.
Josephine’s band are primarily an eight piece band, with a plethora of superbly talented musicians. If you are looking for maximum impact – and maximum dancing – at your event, then the eight piece option is certainly the one for you.
However, we know that there is not always the budget – or the space! – for the full eight piece band, and so we can offer an array of smaller, stripped back ensembles: we can entertain as a simple two piece, vocals and piano; you could opt for the classic quartet of vocals, keys, bass and drums; or you can add a drummer for a quintet with an edge.
