As musicians ourselves we know what is involved in playing for someone on their big day as we have done it hundreds of times personally. So we only pick bands who we know have the right approach to playing weddings and have the correct level of equipment, skill and ability to entertain.
Organising a live band for your wedding can be very time consuming and difficult. If you aren’t familiar with what’s involved in playing live music then it can be confusing too. What kind of line up do you need to achieve the effect you want for you night? Will the line up on the bands website be the same line up as turns up on your big day?
Not only that when you are booking a band for a London wedding there are additional factors to consider from a logistical point of view that make things more difficult. Live bands find it easier playing outside of London where there is normally ample parking available and the loading and unloading of equipment is often easier. Many venues in London are difficult to load in and out and parking can be extremely challenging, especially when there may be a number of vehicles involved.
So at Yes Entertainment we will handle the logistics for you. We already know a huge number of venues in London intimately. But for new venues we are very used to paying a site visit in advance to assess the situation from a parking and loading perspective to ensure that we can inform the band when they need to arrive to guarantee they are ready to perform on time.
