With the Christmas party planning phase in full swing many events companies have already put out their themes for this year. But for those still looking for ideas here are three Christmas party theme ideas that the Yes Entertainment Elves think could work in 2015.
1. Bond – well the Christmas party run just wouldn’t be a Christmas party run without a Bond themed event now would it? But this year of course there is a new film due (Spectre – release date 6th November 2015) just early enough for everyone to get thoroughly excited about Bond in time for the annual Christmas events. The new film gives lots of opportunities for Bond themes beyond the norm however so look out for Day of the Dead decorations & alpine theming.
2. Sci-Fi – yes there is a rather famous triology being restarted or re-finished, not sure which, on 18th December (how do you say nine-ology does anybody know? answers on a postcard or in the comments box will be much appreciated!) and with it will come a bit of a Sci-fi wave. So why is it then that there is no-one doing any Sci-fi themed Christmas events? Seems like a bit of a gap in the market to us…
3. Circus with a story – there are lots of circus themed Christmas events on the market but nothing that really goes beyond a series of acts on stage or floor. Here at the palace of YesMinster we think a new law should be passed to ensure that all Christmas events come with a theme that runs through everything from room decoration to acts used and the story that’s presented to the guests. Draw them in, make them part of the theatre.
